With the support of volunteers, Fraser serves nearly 10,000 children, adults, and families living with special needs. Volunteers use their time, energy, and passion to create bright futures for our clients. Create bright futures. Volunteer with Fraser.

Check out our volunteer opportunities listed below! We have Ongoing Programs for volunteers who would like to make a long-term commitment, and we also offer One-Time Opportunities for those who are seeking the occasional possibility.

Basic Requirements for Volunteering:

  • Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age for all ongoing programs except for Fraser School Classroom Volunteer. You must be 16 years old to participate in this program.
  • With the supervision of a guardian, youth under the age of 16 may be able to volunteer for our special events or one time opportunities. Please contact our Volunteer and Intern Program Manager with specific questions regarding this.
  • All volunteers are required to attend a general Volunteer Orientation and a site-specific Volunteer Onboarding session.
  • Due to the vulnerable population we serve, all our volunteers must also complete and pass a Department of Human Services criminal background check, with the exception of our special events volunteers.
  • Volunteers who are interested in positions that are listed as mandatory or optional drivers must complete and pass a motor vehicle records check.

Gain experience in your field by observing services being faciliated. We offer observation experiences in Fraser School and Pediatric Therapy (Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Music Therapy, Learn Talk Play and Feeding Therapy).
